Wasn’t all the speculation that he wasn’t going to play until after that trip anyway?
Because they’ve been winning without him, there’s really no need. Hardly any seeding implications.

We done knew. This is not a surprise

Was pretty obvious. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s done for the regular season.

We just to need to split the two Phoenix games. I don’t mind us going all in on the second game. Hopefully Ty at least gives the young guys a run in the first game so that we have a reason to watch.

Sit pg too, he played like 40 hard minutes yesterday. If he gets the to rim like he did test clippers gonna be cookin

Software glitch or waiting for those replacement Nvidia AI chips to take?

They need to sit out Norm, PG, Harden and probably Zu.

I’m surprised they aren’t leaving the starters at home and sending the g league

The more we win without him the more rest he gets

Win one of the Phoenix games, guaranteed win against Jazz lock up 4 seed. Rest everyone against Houston.
Ultimate dream scenario- Shai stays out injured Thunder lose out. We win out. 3rd seed could of been more realistic if Charlotte beat them yesterday

So they tanking to help the Suns move up

If he isn’t hurt then I think it would be extremely stupid and arrogant to sit him entirely for the last ten games.
Even assuming that a jump from nothing to playoff intensity basketball does not increase the chance of injury, he is going to be out of rhythm. We might be down 0-2 by the time he finds his form.
For those drawing a parallel with Murray, Denver is a 2 seed and defending champ about to play probably the cooked Pels or flawed Kings, not a 4 seed about to play a dark horse contender who many have favoured to beat us even if Kawhi is at his best. And Murray played the last game for what I consider to be the very obvious reason that the team needs him to remain in some sort of game shape and form.
I read an ESPN article last year during the Suns series saying that Kawhi had played heavy minutes toward the end of the season in order to ramp him up to playoff intensity. Perhaps that was too much last year given PGs injury. But if that was the thinking last year does it make sense to go to the other extreme rather than aiming for a balance? I think not.
Of course if he is injured or in pain then that’s different but imo the comments calling for him simply to be sat for the rest of the season regardless are devoid of common sense. I know we are traumatised by the thought of another last minute injury but these decisions should be made according to what will give us the best chance of success rather than avoiding trauma to the fanbase or to protect the FOs heads in case something goes wrong.

Yikes! Getting a little worried now

I know this shocking to say but if PG and Kawhi are both healthy and playing high level hoops they can beat anyone. If Harden is the slightest dialed in and aggressive on offense they can do it.

*sigh*
Do we start to get worried?
Kawhi doing Kawhi things.

Good rest him as much as possible.
But will he play Wednesday in LA? 🤔
