Was at a Golf tournament last summer and they had a live auction for some sports memorabilia. Well this Scottie Barnes signed authentic icon jersey came up and I had to have it. Most the people only cared for the NHL stuff but there was one other raptors fan in the crowd. Price started at $300 but ended at $500 . Before my last bid I yelled he’s my favourite player on my favourite team! And he let me have it . This is a grail I’ll be keeping for a while!! Just wanted to share my excitement months later . Love that Scottie added a heart to his signature. Classic Scottie!!

May I ask who ran the auction? Did the jersey come with any paperwork, particularly from MLSE? Most signed jerseys/basketballs I’ve seen from him so far have come from MLSE.
Unfortunately collectible charity auction scams are pretty rampant. Although I can’t see it clearly, the signature looks shaky (uncommon for Barnes) and the #4 inscription does not match known examples (although there aren’t many of those).

You need to get a piece of foam board in the jersey, pull it back and pin it on the back. Will look much better. Can get foam board Michaels. Aside from the framing it’s a nice piece and an authentic cut too! 👌
