Honestly rather extend Mitchell to a long term contract. King James is appreciated but his time in Cleveland to play is over unless we get him super cheap.

The Lakers are miles better than us idk why you would leave them

If Mitchell wants out anyway and won’t re-sign, then I absolutely do this trade.
However, I don’t think the Lakers would go for it unless they know Mitchell will commit long-term to them.
If we’re just talking about fit, even an old LeBron helps our team a lot. Not our timeline, but definitely addresses our weaknesses. He can still create and score at a high level, play minutes at PG, SF, or PF, and will be a leader.

I’d take anyone that can create their own bucket in Front court at this point.

It can be Bronny’s farewell tour as well
The_Kielbasa_Kid
No thanks. The Bron and Bronny Reunion Tour will be a shitshow of an extreme magnitude. Nothing good can come from this.☹️

How about they just trade Mobley and keep Donovan 😂
bob_scratchit
LeBron is up for a new contract. I’m not sure if I want to send DMitch to LA just for LeBron, who will want a massive payday at 40. That could destroy our future if LeBron actually starts to decline/gets injured, and we’re left with basically 0 draft capital.

You can have Garland but not Mitchell

How about no

Bronny can transfer to Ohio State and LeBron come back to Cleveland

I dont think Lebron moves the needle from where we are at. He would still need that 2nd star. Garland ain’t cutting it.
IF, which is unlikely, he wanted to play here it would need to be at a lower price.

I usually say no to these things but not anymore. With LeBron Cavs would instantly best in the East.

IDK the financial details that this would entail, and I hate agreeing with Paul Pierce… but dude that would be like a frickin Disney movie. I would honestly love it.
Bizzzle80
We are not in 2018 despite me believing it was last year.. but one more championship run with Cleveland and his son does sound like a movie
HauntingOkra5987
Lakers are going to sign James to a huge extension, 3 years 180 million or something no other team would touch & won’t win anything anytime soon
PatientlyAnxious9
The national media wants Donovan Mitchell traded to NY/Miami/LA so badly it hurts.
Sure, lets get rid of a top 15 player in basketball because 40 year old LeBron needs a farewell tour in Cleveland.
