Every time I listen to these national media clowns I'm convinced the Lakers and Warriors should just be gifted a spot in the Western Conference semi-finals. Both have been underperforming all year. This is the most games Lebron and AD have played in 6 years – and yet the Lakers are just butt. They have no defense outside of AD. No perimeter defense and no wing defense. They're just NOT GOOD ENOUGH in a Western Conference where Dallas, LAC, MIN, OKC and NO are all better than last year. Lakers just went on a 9-2 run AND DIDN'T MOVE FROM 9TH PLACE!
It's time to let these two team ride off into the sunset and give some credit to those who may not have the historical success, but are clearly the cream of the crop in 2023-24.
