Connelly should have a lot of reasons to stay ($$$$), but obviously if he takes off that would be a huge red flag no matter how this ownership thing is settled.

I would not be concerned. Not a lot of good teams are seeking for a GM, and Connelly won’t go to a rebuilding team like Detroit or Charlotte. Washington could have happened since he is from there, but they already got a new GM.

This is nothing. I find it hard to believe that with how well the Wolves are doing he would just bail because of this. There is absolutely nothing that indicates Connelly has a problem with Glen Taylor. Plus if Woj is correct about ARod/Lore cutting back spending that is the last thing a GM wants to hear.
Enjoy the ride of this season because it’s going to get messy beyond. The ownership squabble is going to have far reaching ramifications beyond the court.

If Connelly had doubts about ownership paying the tax, it would make sense for him to insist on an opt-out the year that they would hit the tax. Could be a good thing. Leverage for making ownership (whichever party) pay the tax.
