My takes from watching the videos

    his strength

    – shot making ability

    – handles, finishing at rim, speed

    his weakness

    – poor choice (low iq) at offense leads to analytical efficiency at shooting

    – passing ability not good enough (limited left hand passing): again poor timing or choices due to low iq

    – terrible at defense (low iq there too?): abysmal at pick and roll and go for risky steals

    – handles are not elite yet

Of course he’s a rookie and can develop his games, but don’t expect this development to be anything quick. I don’t expect him to improve us in next season a lot if we draft him.

I’m worried that he won’t improve his basketball iq enough that he won’t be any much better than Lonnie or Malaki (or even worse).

On the other hand, maybe this video is exaggerating and even current Allstars could have such weakness as rookies. I don’t follow rookie development a lot in the past, so not much knowledge here.

Narrowed down my wishlist with the Spurs pick to him or Topic. Either would be such a nasty duo with Wemby

I could be wrong but I don’t know if dillingham is high on our wishlist. We desperately need playmaking, shooting and high IQ at guard. Rob is a bucket getter and I think he will score in the nba. But to me his ceiling/archetype is Jordan Clarkson and I don’t think that’s what we’re looking for.

Literally just a random guy on the internet with no sources but I watch our games and Kentucky games (wife/father in law are Kentucky fans) and that’s my two cents
