Wow, I never thought I would see this day Chris Broussard is voting Luka for MVP

He came a long way from his ” Mark Cuban is driving around Dallas for DeAndre Jordan”. Credit to him

The tide is turning. Getting to 50 might have just given him the nudge he needed.

Honestly I won’t be mad if he doesn’t get it, I just want him to legitimately be considered. And this is a step in the right direction

He’s not gonna win, but happy to see him get some love for the incredible season he’s had now that we’re winning games.

I’m tapping out on the MVP convos now until playoff time, lol. Nuggets fans were starting to get too annoying (our own fans are being annoying too, but I naturally have a higher tolerance for you silly goobers) so it was time to accept the results and move on.

Luka MVP case has grown stronger in recent days but Jokic is still pretty much guaranteed to win it. Just look at the betting odds. It’s done lol

If Luka can’t win it averaging 34/10/9 after carrying the team for half the season and getting us to 51-52 wins in one of the most loaded conferences ever then I don’t know if he’ll ever win one

I don’t know who the host is on this show, but from the clips I’ve watched, his disdain for Luka and Luka’s “play style” is palpable.

Him, and others like him, standing on the old groupthink soap box that Luka is a Ball Hog infuriates me to no avail.

Using the seeding argument as the basis is kinda weak. Why not use total wins? If Giannis had Luka’s stats, he’d easily be MVP favorite, because the Bucks are the 2 seed in the East currently. Yet, the Bucks have fewer wins than the 5th seed Mavs…

I feel dumber everytime i listen to most of these eejits

Jokic got mvp when the Nuggets were 6th place the first time. I don’t understand why everyone is changing their stance this year.

If Jalen Brunson can’t have MVP, then I guess Luka having it is ok in my books. The people that don’t vote him as the obvious MVP are snobs

All Luka has to do is average 35/10/10 with lockdown defense as the 1 seed with 65+ wins and he’ll get that hardware

The guys that vote should have to actually watch 60% of the top 3 players games, in their entirety, minimum. TBH, the media shouldnt get to vote because id wager 85% of them havent even watched 5 full Mavs games, researched injuries, etc.

They all vote based on the nationally televised games and teams that are spammed in the media, or based on team record and player stats alone. Its a busted system which favors LA, NY, Boston, Philly, Denver, or Reigning Champs with heavy TV minutes.

IMO the vote should be GM’s or even GM’s and local broadcast teams who actually watch these guys play every night. Basketball junkies only.
