  1. This is so annoying! I love Luka, but the media trying to find ways to discredit, or not give enough credit to Jokic for the last 4 years is idiotic. He is hands down the best player in the world, he routinely wipes the floor with all the other great players head to head, he is reliable-doesnt miss games, and they are #1 in a tough WC.

  2. Wtf does MVP these days?? I love me some Joker BUT Luka magic has been just that all year long. Highest scorer in the N.B.A people! Topping everyone!!! And he is playing badass with Kyrie. Everyone else we know what animal they are but this kid has stepped it up, big time. Mavs are an exciting team to watch this post-season.

  3. Btw Luka has the most player of the month and player of the week 12 of the last 16 leaders in those have won mvp. Luka also averaged 37 a game for a month and didn’t win player of the month. Mavs also have much higher lebron war missed than any team in the top 10

  4. Jokic is these analytics guys dream. Making it really seem like he’s been just head and shoulders about everyone else when he’s great on 1 side of the floor. You have guys like Shai & Ant right there at the top with Denver on teams that aren’t more talented than Denver and they just get glossed over by a Luka who is the 5th seed and has another superstar on his team. Jamal Murray has missed games but who on OKC is better than him and without KAT who on Minnesota is better than him

  5. STEVE EFFING NASH winning two MVP awards is literally one of the most (Stephen A Smith) EGREGIOUS, ASININE (Skip Bayless) Asi-Ten Asi-Eleven Asi-twelve…
I mean why didn’t they just give the MVP awards to Raymond Felton? He was easily as good as Nash while playing the Mike No D Antonio in New York City. It was just maddening and stupid rhetoric and media “narrative” that was so “amazed with Nash: The little “White Guy Engine that Could. And being 50-40-90 when you literally take 1 contested shot every 2-3 games. Like 90% free throws for a guard? Should be nearly the norm for point guards and low 80’s 83-84ish and up for all players who play the 1-2-3 positions. 50% on uncontested shots is actually pretty poor. Ray Allen or Chris Mullin Timmy LegLegLer Dana Barros Dale Ellis Del Curry Craig Hodges Steve Kerr John Paxson Mark and Brent Price Rex Chapman D3 Dennis Scott Steve Smith Kenny the Jet Mario Elie Sean Elliot Detlef Schrempf Tyler Herro Bird the Legend Kamikaze Klay Thomas his teammate that little guy from Davidson Kevin Hart LuuuuuuuuuKaaaaaaaa D. J.R. Swish Melo Anthony Melo Ball Terry Ross Kimba Walker The Rifleman Chuck Person Thunder Dan Maaaaaaaarley BJ Armstrong Derrick Fisher Big Shot Bob Mr. Big Shot Billups Rip Hamilton Mike Conley New York Death Wish actor Jalen (Charles) Bronson (with a u) Reggie Lewis Mike Miller Holy Moly this is almost becoming exhausting, but that’s a short list of the guys who I put in the no handcheck era Mike No-D Antoni 7 seconds or less system who have 10+ assists per game likely 2 more rebounds than whatever Nash averaged, played DEFENSE better than a turnstile. Guy couldn’t play dead in a poker game in a cowboy movie. Nash passing to the Matrix and 6’11”Amare Stoudemire for 8 alley-oops per game minimum. Meanwhile Kobe is trying to drag SMUSH EFFING PARKER AND KWAME all the talent, none of the coachability, competitive nature to be a young springy 6’11” sidekick to an almost Mt. Rushmore great 2 Guard in the city of dreams and angels, Kobe putting up like 36 a game and they still winning like a couple games here and there. Which is amazing because Parker was literally not an NBA level player, sorry Smush, it wasn’t because Kobe didn’t embrace you, it’s because you didn’t embrace yourself and your athletic ability didn’t allow for you to just “coast

  6. Mavs and Luka have been rolling as of late.. Denver has been rolling all season.. Joker is at the top of the west.. & does defense not matter? what SGA is doing with that young team all season?? FTF y’all lost me with this one… smh

  7. Objectively WILT should of won M.VP. his first 9 years in the league, with exception of possibly 64 when Oscar won it.

  8. They just gonna act like Kyrie isn’t a huge reason the Mavs have 50 wins 😂Luka is NOT the MVP of the league. He is very good, but he’s not the MVP. Unless we want to go back and give Shaq 10 MVPs despite playing with Kobe. Like what is this?

  9. I a**hole hate takes that guys like Wildes and the new analyst generation gives. Dry & dismissive to opinions that go against pre-conceived notions. The same guys that rank the top 100 also vote on the MVP, shocking to see both are narrative based. Clearly nobody watches or cares to look at what sport they speak on from a non-narrative standpoint point. Do some deeper thinking and digging, Luka is the MVP!

  10. 2 of the last 4 years, Jimmy should've been MVP of the playoffs. Whats is an MVP? Someone who's elevating his team. WTF are the Thunder doing in the playoffs without Shay? Isn't he by far the mvp? No disrespect to Joker, he could be the mvp aswell.

  11. Jokic won it as 5th seed with no help, Doncic has one of the best point guards of all time beside him. Seriously if you can’t see the big difference there, you don’t deserve a vote! Give Doncic AG, Jeff Green, Barton and Monte Morris to start alongside and see where he finishes! Wouldn’t even make play-in guaranteed…..
