Found this [incredible spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KMzwRcilLDej0BWl7eYE_OYC9Tx9olI_Ptn-nHjKfpQ/edit#gid=643451732) that’s currently tracking all of the end of season award votes. Worth noting is the section that identifies votes who have put out articles or statements indicating their vote, so far Michael Pina from the Ringer and Dan Devine from Yahoo! Sports. Of course, I’m only interested in how they view Wemby and so far [Pina has him as both ROTY and DPOY](https://www.theringer.com/nba/2024/4/11/24126870/nba-awards-2024-mvp-nikola-jokic-luka-doncic); [Devine only has him as ROTY](https://sports.yahoo.com/2024-nba-awards-official-picks-for-mvp-rookie-of-the-year-and-every-individual-honor-213934497.html) and not even in the top three for DPOY (Gobert, Bam and AD – that last one is a whole other conversation in light of Lakers media mentality; see [Community Notes on AD3Muse’s tweet](https://x.com/ad3muse/status/1777818890166513766?s=46&t=dsgyjnj_KICH3uACYybdQQ), which has to be a first)

I think what’s really interesting is that from the All-Star break onwards, ROTY was basically a lock, and when [Wemby put out that statement about Gobert and DPOY](https://www.si.com/nba/spurs/news/san-antonio-spurs-victor-wembanyama-rudy-gobert-dpoy-reign), everyone was like yea, next year for Wemby; but in the last five games or so more and more people appear to be switching on to Wemby as an actual DPOY candidate, especially after the Wolves-Nuggets game and[the comparison between how Braun treats Wemby and Gobert](https://x.com/ben_cary_/status/1778281775942320349?s=46&t=dsgyjnj_KICH3uACYybdQQ). I know it’s cherry picking one play and the overall outcome was MPJ hitting a three instead of a Braun dunk but I’m holding out hope for more votes to flip as the season ends!
