I use to get on AD rightfully so sometimes these past few seasons after the ring but after this season its clear he has been done dirty so far because the FO does not want to give him a real back up big man who can take hits. Legit Ham did not play Tristan Thompson last yr till it was too late I get he wasn’t perfect but he did what he could vs Jokic in that one game. Legit Darvin made no adjustments till the bitter end. He is legit the reason Thomas Bryant requested a trade he was having a really good season and while he wasn’t a bruiser hes more of a bruiser than Hayes or Wood. Dude pretty much ignored him once AD got back last yr instead of still giving him mins to help AD.
Now teams around the league know its AD or bust for the Lakers so they will def try to injure dude in the least obvious ways to get ahead. Hayes tries but he isn’t a dominant enough defender to carry such a big load he’s a guy who is good in stretches but not meant to be a starter just yet. Wood/Vando being out also makes u lose out on size and defense as well as floor spacing. I wish they woulda just gave the Gabe Vincent money to a center like Jock Landale who was a FA he signed with Houston he’d be great on this team as a back up and woulda helped greatly as a starter if AD misses a game and he can play next to AD too.
