I hate knicks fans like this. If we trade for Mitchell we will lose the entire bench and draft picks numb nuts. Like bruh we would all love to have him on the knicks. But we won't make it past the 1st round with no bench.
Forget Donovan Mitchell man. We have the guy that cooked him in playoffs last year. It would be too small and too expensive a backcourt. We don't need him, he's not a great fit, he's not a great value…. ship has sailed.
Hey I'm all for getting Donovan but at the expense of our core players isn't worth it because we know what we have. Once we trade the players it would take to land him what would we have left. We've seen a few teams try and land that super star and seen how many times it didn't work out. WE need to see what our team looks like next year and who we are loosing. A stronger bench would make us a lot better and if Randle comes back like his old self look out one more scorer is what we need when Jalen is on the bench.

Og, bridges, hart, precious rotate that pf position. Then flip bojan and picks for a bonafide playmaking backup guard. Deuce is more a 2guard in a pg body
Randle is a game changer for the Knicks bc of the time Brunson is on bench, we have a go to scorer. JB has the highest +/- in league, but struggle is real w him off court. JB does far more than his stats show

Tiny 6'1 shooting guards like Donavan Mitchell need to play next to an oversized point guard. This is why Donavan Mitchell led teams flame out in the playoffs. Pair him with Mike Conley, Darius Garland or Jalen Brunson, all will get the same results; great regular season but early playoff exit. Plus Mitchell's last good playoffs (individually good, his teams have never made deep playoff runs) was in the bubble, last year he was flat out embarrassing.
Allen Iverson was paired with big lead guards like Eric Snow and Aaron Mackie (Iverson ultimately only got out of round 2 once but what can you do with a 6'1 shooting guard as your best player?). Knicks need to shop elsewhere, too much overlap with his game and Brunson's. Let Donavon Mitchell continue to dazzle and sell jerseys in small markets where his lack of playoff success can be overlooked whilst his game is enjoyed.
The Knicks already are good defensive team!! They need elite scoring with Jalen and Randle to build a dynasty. AND if you trade Bogie and maybe Achiuwa plus 3 first round picks for Mitchell. I would definitely make that happen

I prefer to figure out a way to trade Randle for Bridges. Maybe in a three team trade. Move OG to the 4. That’s a better fit than breaking up the core for Mitchell
Id rather keep Randle if healthy than grab another guard and give up too much. We are good enough to beat anyone when fully healthy.
