No real surprise here. NBA embarasses itself by their Lakers/LeBron bias. Without that golden Boy would be out of the Play in alltogether

“It’s the way our offense is structured guys!”

  3. I assumed this was faked for laughs.

It is real. As is the conspiracy. 🤣

Bruh i was looking for MIN for like 2 minutes why do we have a green bar 🤣🤣

  5. Makes me scared to play laker in the playoffs honestly

    Also of note:

“The findings from Matt Moore, an NBA writer, were that 1) much of the Lakers significant advantage in FT differential is that they get teams in the bonus more often and faster than every other team in the league, meaning they shoot a helluva lot of FT that aren’t related to paint shot attempts. 2) they have the lowest rate in the league of fouling opposing teams on their paint-shot attempts, meaning teams don’t shoot a lot of FT against the lakers because the Lakers don’t foul often in those situations.

Now people may ask “why do the Lakers get into the bonus so often and so fast?” And “why don’t the Lakers get called for as many shooting fouls as everyone else?” “It must be the NBA manipulating things for LeBron and the big-market Lakers!”

And I’m not going to tell them they’re wrong or … right. That’s just how the stats explain their advantages.”

(I pasted from another sub to give some extra context for the disparity in favor of the lakers)

This is why, even though we’re better, I do not want to play them. It’s ridiculous. Probably an impossible differential in a fair game

I figured the Lakers would be favored, but Jesus Christ, the disparity is insane! I think we will be fine if we do wind up playing the Lakers round 1. But I would be dreading the ref ball and the national media basically all on the Lakers side making us out to be this evil team.

With the size we have there’s no way we shouldn’t be up there with the Magic and them at least. Jaden and Naz should be attempting more fts than they do. And we also need Mike to be foul baiting too as good a ft shooter he is

Why is Indy so low? I get GS spamming threes but Indy isn’t centered like that.

  11. Mostly their big markets on top and the small mid markets on bot…

pretty crazy that the warriors are last, you’d expect that team to get way more calls considering that dynasty gave them the same amount of fans as the celtics and lakers

This is why I don’t want to play them in the playoffs.
