[Bontemps] The NBA makes it official: if Philadelphia is hosting the 7-8 game, West play-in games will both be Tuesday, and East’s will be Wednesday. Otherwise, the 7-8 games will be Tuesday, and 9-10 will be Wednesday. Either way, both 8-9 games will be Friday.

The playoffs start Saturday 4/20, if the 8-9 game is Friday does that mean the winner will start the playoffs on a back to back? Or would game 1 be Sunday for the 1-8 matchup?
