Ig a 49-32 record with a winning record against teams above .500 and series wins against every top 4 seed team in the western conference means our starting 5 is bad or something

No offense but this guy is not very good at basketball analysis. He’s a Lakers homer. He’s tried to branch out into wider NBA coverage and it hasn’t really worked.
Our starting 5 has been essentially a net 0 the whole year. We were worse in the beginning of the season and have slightly improved.
I personally think we haven’t seen the starting 5’s true potential because Zion was out of shape for most of the year. To focus on BI. He hasn’t really had the chance to play off Zion when he’s dominant like that. I’m not saying they’re a perfect fit or anything like that. What I am saying is that Zion has stated multiple times on the record that he went to CJ and BI in the beginning of the season and said that he “wasn’t where he needed to be”. Aka I’m not in shape.
With Zion now being in the best shape he will be this year, BI will have an opportunity to play off him a bit more. It’s likely too late for that too all come together but it’s a lazy analysis to call us fraudulent.
Also, fuck the Lakers.

You guys are downvoting me as if I agree with this. I DONT, I was just asking for your opinions. I also agree that we’re almost a 50 win team & in any other season, we’d be a top 3 seed.

Some questions: When is this from? Fraudulent based on this year, or what context?

I mean, he’s not totally wrong. We absolutely have strung together a ton of wins against some really bad competition and have lucked out by getting some really good teams when they’ve been struggling with injuries. There aren’t a ton of quality wins against really good teams this season and as much as I don’t want it to happen, I feel like if we catch the Nuggets in round one that we might only get one win or just outright get swept. We’ve played really well for a few games now and I would love to be proven wrong.

the fact that we stuck with that starting lineup the entire year should make you angry
