Two things are certain in life: Taxes and unfounded Trae slander

> *[”Murray was the one dangled ahead of the trade deadline, but he played himself back into the Hawks’ plans. Many sources around the NBA believe Young will be on the move this summer—assuming Atlanta can find a buyer.”](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10116641-trae-young-landing-spots-if-atlanta-hawks-trade-star-guard-this-offseason)*

> *[”Not every team needs a point guard, let alone a small one (6’1″, 164 pounds) at $43 million next season. Several just don’t like his game.”](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10116641-trae-young-landing-spots-if-atlanta-hawks-trade-star-guard-this-offseason)*

Can we be done with this season? Can they go fight about “champions of WHAT” or something

YEAH….Because Trae was injured….Who the fuck checks their sources anymore? Anyone??

My feeling at this point is that Trae needs to be on a team that competes and it’s not gonna be my Hawks. I’d rather see him somewhere else than in an Atlanta uniform if the rest of his time here is gonna be play-in quality rosters.

I hate Philadelphia but a Trae/Embiid duo would be crazy

they have this same article prepped for every April if we get bounced out of the play-in. Thankfully, Trae is the play-in god so this is usually saved for the eventual first round exit…

I sure as hell hope it doesn’t happen but our ineptitude as a franchise will probably drive him out eventually. Things have gotten progressively worse every year since ECF.

Why would we trade Trae or Jalen?

You’ve already got two of the most essential archetypes for a modern NBA roster:

    (1) you’re elite primary creator

    (2) Versatile DHO threat

The hard part is over. Just surround these pieces with 3-point shooting and length for switching and you’re done.
