Seems like there are very few statistically 40+% 3 point shooters in the draft: Reed, CWilliams(but few shots), Dillingham. Rishacher fell off his accuracy so not including him… Doesn't seem like they have many choices without gambling. and CWilliams is the only tall one of the 3.
sas will trade out if 2025 first round pick is involved to receive in exchange. sas planning on not being in the lottery again for 10 years unless VW were to have an injury year. sas could be on the cusp 2024-2025 but that would be the last year. Makes Atlanta 2025, 2026, 2027 picks super valuable, they will probably never trade them

Sochan works when they have to defend a super player on another team but mamu sure seems better otherwise. hopefully trade zcollins, DG and maybe KJ for a veteran…

I agree Mamu shoud start over Sochan. I'm getting tired of these fans' favoritism about Sochan. He doesn't offer much besides an ok defense (which is overrated). This guy can't be our starter if we will be a contender soon. He is undersized to be our main PF and too slow to become SF. He should be relegated to the bench or he could be a trade piece along with Keldon to acquire a solid veteran.
Y’all need to cut Sochan slack he is 20 guarding the best on the planet lol he can use some improvement forsure let’s see if he can.

This “we need a PG” debate is ridiculous. You need a scoring wing a 3-D player and more shooting . More specifically you need an upgrade at Keldon position . He the odd man out . Tre is a great . One of the best assist to turnover ratios in the league . The spurs were top 5 in assists . Everyone wants a ball dominant PG for no reason
If the team keeps 2024 draft pick "the team gets younger". I don't get it, all players Wemby, Vassell, Sochan get a year older, how does this make the team younger. More importantly, they will get one summer to work together. Also, the idea of trading out of this draft doesn't make sense, no matter how you slice it, this team has 4 – 4 1/2 good players. They need more talent across the board.
I just don't see the Spurs making big trades or signings? Trades have never been the Spurs way, and I doubt we give up a bunch of assets in Wemby's first few years, but we can't continue to draft a bunch of first round picks for the next 3+ years and not think that won't stunt player development. We don't really have much cap room, can make trades to help with sign and trades, but I just don't think the Spurs want to bring in older players for a bunch of money to take up some younger player minutes.
I think the spurs will run it back with new first round talent to give these young guys a shot to develop.
Me, I'd trade for a big upgrade at point and a taller wing and tear it all down to make it happen, but I'm wrecklesss and want championships now!
