Good think Monk is still out so it’s a little less damaging but man ☹️

He would’ve been perfect vs Fox. This scks but then again other teams also kick Kings ass without having the luxury of GP2. It’ll be ok

I love Payton and when he plays he really gives us another dimension on both sides of the ball.

With that being said, I don’t see him being with the team after this year. Way too many injuries and a roster spot that could be used to bring in someone more available during the year.

  4. Two things:

    – GPII was perfectly fine, at least fine enough that any kind of serious calf injury would appear to be out of the question, in the Lakers game through to the very end when he made the game sealing block and after that play (ie made no indication something was wrong with his calf after that block because he ran up the court afterwards).

    – Each of the previous times he was injured this season he posted a reaction to it after on social media. There was no such post this time.

So, this leads me to believe that, while it’s of course a gamble, they’re confident they can win two without him and prefer to remain cautious with his calf tightness to make sure he’s good and can last for a long playoff run. And for all of the inevitable “well it doesn’t matter if they don’t win” comments, see my last sentence. 🙃

After the last two games, I think Moody is up for playing some hard intense perimeter D.

Moody minutes. 57% from 3 in the playoffs, I expect him to play well

Obviously Warriors are less good without him on the floor.

    We’ll see.

He might renegotiate his deal this summer. Still super valuable but availability has been an issue.

Does Portland have any more of those pain killer injections

Fox was already gonna get his, but he may run wild. Need Steph and somebody else to really show up to trade buckets.

We’ve been used to playing without him numerous times before and won. What’s once again.

I love GP2 but the guy can never stay healthy. He’s only played around 208 games in 8 seasons. When he does play, he’s a human highlight reel and makes a lot of incredible plays.

Since coming back he’s not been able to stay for fit good chance he’s moved on in the summer.

Love GP2 but talk about failure of a trade. Started with a #2 overall pick. Picked Wiseman a bust. Traded him for Saddiq Bey. Get 5 second round picks for Bey. Then trade those picks for GP2.

And now GP2 is not available for the most important moment of the season, consistently missing important games.

Just bad management in this specific situation. Smh

I know he’s a great locker room guy and he’s a good player when he does play, but damn bro, his body is made of butter

Sigh. Love the man but goddamn he cannot stay healthy.

Fox will definitely have the quickness advantage, so lets hope we close out well to Murray and others. Cuz if anyone outside of a Fox gets hot….its gonna be a rough game.

I think it’s time to trade GP2. As much as it hurts me to say that because of what he can do with this team, he just never seems to be healthy when it matters most

    This is bad.

Was hoping for GP2 clamps on CJ if we see the Pels.
