Durant: “I had my teammate flop into me and an opponent flop into me two straight years. . . Just stay away from the crash dummies. The dudes who try to sell calls and don’t mind hurting people by diving on the floor trying to sell a call. I know who those guys are and try to stay away from them.”

> “No players flopped into my legs this year. Last two years, I had my teammate flop into me and an opponent flop into me two straight years that caused me to get MCL injuries. If it wasn’t for that, I probably would’ve been out there the same amount of games, but I’m glad nobody flopped into me. Had a couple of nagging injuries, but it was day-to-day type of stuff. I’m grateful for that…Just stay away from the crash dummies, you know. The dudes who try to sell calls and don’t mind hurting people by diving on the floor trying to sell a call. I know who those guys are, and I try to stay away from them.”

Durant avoiding Embiid like the plague.

Who’s the teammate who flopped into him twice the past two years?

  4. Rhino-Ham

So who are the two guys he’s referencing?

  5. BcuzRacecar

Bruce brown was the teammate and jimmy was the opponent if anyone was wondering

This is why flopping should be a fine.

Why was this posted 10 times by the same account?

Zaza didn’t flop into him ever? I’m surprised!

This is the biggest reason I have hope the NBA will one day actually crack down on flopping. I get why they don’t want to have to police it, but it makes the game more dangerous and sooner or later a big star is going to have a major injury from someone else flopping.

Silver being Silver, the change won’t come until after a star tears something major, but i think at some point they may actually try.

Say what you will about KD but he’s a real hooper, never see him pull any dirty or dangerous shit

Calling Jimmy Butler a crash dummy has increased my respect for KD. It almost makes up for trying to give himself The Servant nickname

That reminds me of Sabonis flopping into Rasheed Wallace multiple times chipping his tooth. Then he threw the towel in sabonis’s face on national tv. I read a book called jail blazers that had a chapter about that, it was hilarious

I do the same shit at LA fit lol. You learn which dudes are gonna hurt someone

Lmao this is exactly what just happened to Malik Monk

I hope KD eventually writes a ridiculous NBA tell-all that’s half tabloid and half bball insight genius, it’ll be deep, accidentally funny, innovative, and extremely cringey.

Just like how Luka sold a call into Malik Monk’s knee and ended his season.
