Thanks for an amazing regular season of podcasts! Between all the wins and post-win podcasts this year, i just feel lucky to be a Celtics fan 🍀. I totally get people who are “championship or bust” but for me, I’m just grateful for the last 7 months of good vibes and constant winning.
This was a great stress free season. The playoffs is where the stress and tension begins in my home. Definitely will need a drink or three to get me through lol ☘️
I love Oshead but he hasn’t earned playoff minutes on this team. He has been okay on defense but I believe he lost his minutes to Tillman. He is too out of control when going to the basket and missing shots he shouldn’t. So I agree we won’t see him much in playoffs.
I disagree about the rotation being short Joe has not only been playing guys but he even said he trust everyone he puts in the gme and will need everyone moving forward.

The biggest threat on signing Derrick White away from Boston is the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs will have the cap space and in need of a veteran two way guard to team up with Wenbenyama. The Celtics management will need to go all in and offer a max contract to keep D White as he has earned his payday.

Folks, it's sports. Yes, it's emotional investment… but it's one without consequence. Just remember that part. Coming from someone who had a four-hour long, 5 Star meltdown when the Sox lost in 1986 (and took every big loss as–and there were MANY back in the day–personally). I learned and grew from that. It's NOT personal, it's not the end of the world, no matter how bad it is (and I challenge anyone to find "worse" than 1986. 2003 didn't even register in comparison). The point of sports is entertainment–but it's entertainment that doesn't make promises–nor should you rely on it to validate YOUR happiness. Just enjoy the simple fact you can indulge in something that's intense, fun and has ZERO consequences (unless you're a bettor. That's another issue–but also YOUR choice). Remember all of that. Nothing for anyone to get crazy about.
Why is anyone worried about Philly? Philly? Oh, there've been some close games and series. But at the end of the day, it's been PWNAGE. Stop worrying, Chicken Littles.
Drew Peterson will be a great Hauser replacement in 2 years. He probably won't be our 7th guy but could be in regular season rotation one day. He's not a sniper but he can play.
Team USA probably won't even medal.
Pritchard and Hauser splitting that 20 mins and kornet might get a few mins for more of a double big against certain teams. He might hit a big time 3.

Regarding Tillman. Anybody here remember Derrick's first year with the Celtics? He didn't look comfortable, he was too timid, looked like he doesnt know his role on defense and offense. Trying his best not to step on anyone's shoes and mess up something that is working well. To me TIllman feels like hes in that similar situation. I expect a bigger role for him next season.
