That’s super scary! I just read about this – no pain usually associated with it but I still can’t imagine. Hopefully they caught it in time!

Just like that, our season out the window. A fickle game…

Good lord. Hope Bitim doesn’t have long term eyesight loss. Jesus.

Big hype and a bigger flame out for Onuralp. Can’t imagine we’re gonna see much more of him in the coming years. I like the dude but he’s not very good.

Has anyone checked if Carter has this too, it would explain some stuff

My sister had it. There’s a surgery for it. The recovery normally isn’t that bad. My sister was fine within a week or 2. Pain with the surgery wasn’t that bad and she was able to return to normal activities relatively quickly.

My mom dealt with this and it’s damn scary. Hope he can heal up and play again

I basically had a detached retina back in high school. I now have a Sclerical Buckle around my right eye. I definitely loss a bit of eyesight but can still see just fine for the most part with contacts or glasses. Just a giant clump of floaters in my right eye and a bit of transparent film I can shift about. Missed more than half my senior year in high school and wear goggles when I play basketball now (that’s how it happened, going for a pass in practice and my teammate poked me in the eye going for the ball).
