  1. Yes it would be a failure for both team. Lakers with incompetent coaching/schemes and Warriors with a roller coaster of internal issues (draymond, coach passing away, poor roster)

  2. Windy has a point. You put the Lakers, Warriors, Kings, Pels in East and they may be as good if not has better standing than Boston. The West is BRUTAL.

  3. Stephen A Clown is what imma call this guy. Thank you Windhorst for talking real basketball.

  4. I agree with most of Windys perspective. I think not getting past the play-in would be a failure for the GSW as far as how expensive the roster is. But that’s not looking at the first half of the season when Dray was out indefinitely, Klay couldn’t get his shot, Wiggins was a ghost of himself, etc. That being said, the biggest failure of the year is the Celtics not winning the chip this year.

  5. The NBA doesn’t need LeBron or Curry anymore. They are great players with immortal legacies, but that doesn’t matter in 2024. And they’ve had so much success in the past, that there’s no way they lose sleep over this season, even if eliminated in the play-in. Stephen A and Shannon are talking like this is their prime- it’s not.

  6. It’s clear that these two want to act like lebron is a new young player while the rest of us easily accept that the league has younger players that represent it. They are both great but I like to see Ja morant, wemby and the new avengers lol

  7. See shannon HAS to throw in football and make correlations because he diesnt know strictly basketball

  8. I miss skip and Shannon for only one reason: Shannon wasn't yelling all the time, and he was the voice of reason. Now all I see from him are yelling and emotional arguments

  9. It's weird, I kinda agree with both sides. The west simply is stacked. It's gotten better and better over the last few years. Bron nd Steph still did their work, so ain't no blame on them if their teams don't make it.
That being said, lakers are the in-season champions. The warriors did end the season strong, after bottling plenty of games during the season. If both teams miss the playoffs, it'll definitely be a disappointment. Both teams put in too much effort to not have at least one series

  10. This segment is a clear example that Stephen A and Shannon don’t watch enough games & the clear bias espn has for lebron and Steph

  11. It clearly shows that Windy is the only one who watches the Games
This is why i dont like the idea that SAS is voting for the awards when he doesn't watch games

  12. Those two are trying to make a narrative. Lebron has completed year 21 and had a "regular" Lebron year. That is not a failure.

  13. I disagree with Windy. Lakers and Warriors don’t get the west is too good excuse. Cause if that’s the case why play at all then. If you make it past the regular season and still playing games and don’t get it done then you failed end of story.

  14. Windy is right. The league is just different and they are now better players than Steph and Lebron or KD

  15. I feel bad for Shannon. This ESPN stint is wasting his talent as a commentator. He's better than those 🤡s

  16. Its not lebron's and steph's league anymore you have to go thru jokic to win the title. Those guys are legends and all timers, but they also are old news.
