Just want to say that while the team failed in the end, I really loved having CP3 this year.

I guess he’ll be gone. I’ll miss him.

I didn’t. He was terrible early on and didn’t do anything meaningful for us.

  2. Wontonsoupz

He was better to watch on my eyes then Jordan Poole. That’s a plus in my books

  3. stefanfan101

dudes gonna be in his 20th season next year, the fact hes still playing is remarkable

  4. Good riddance, one of the dumbest trades in nba history. But getting rid of Jordan poole contract was somehow more important then another wasted year curry

Bro led that early bench mob rotation and had the best? 2nd unit in the league first half of the season. Idk wtf happened in the 2nd half but yeah shit was not it.

  6. I’m sad that he joined us at our worst! He deserved better

People expected CP3 to be the 2nd lineup PG with their bench guys. Kerr decided otherwise and played CP3 and Steph together for that micro mini ball lineup. Heck if Dunleavy didn’t trade Cory Joseph, we might see all 3 on the floor together just to satisfy Kerr’s small ball fetish.

He joins Muggsy Bogues and John Starks in the pantheon of guards to play mediocre seasons on forgettable warriors teams at the tail end of their careers

Is this the first time Chris Paul missed playoffs since 2006? Funny that when he joined people claimed that this was the best team he joined in his career.

Seeing this guy command the floor with our rookies and role players was a joy to watch. Thanks CP3.

im sorry, i didn’t. he was turnover prone with us and reluctant to score. his middy aint as much as a cheat code as it was against us. still think we could have gotten a better return from poole + FRP + baldwin.

  12. purplebrown_updown

Disagree. I don’t see any value added. Terrible trade. Wasted space for a younger player to come up.

  13. YSLMangoManiac

Knew we were cooked the moment we traded for him tbh

  14. ConstructionOdd5269

Please get this fatass greedy MFer out of a Warriors uniform.

  15. Proskills500

He was a good player and a great guy to have around, it’s a shame he was apart of a deal where we traded away one of our few assets for something that does absolutely nothing for us in the long run though.

  16. slowloris49

Fuck that nigga! We shouldve never got him. He is a wasted roster spot. Kerr pissed me off this year, he didnt give us a chance to win

  17. FreshwaterBeach

I’d rather watch Jordan Poole either slip over or make the whole defence go cross-eyed.

  18. bayarea_fanboy

If nothing else this man got us off the Jordan Poole worst in the league contract.

  19. stefanfan101

lol imagine in 2019, someone told us we would feel bad for cp3

  20. CarryOnUptheMorning

I hated it he’s old and slow couldn’t defend and was an awful fit with Steph.

  21. Mosak2205

He finally found a way to beat the dubs in the pleyoffs

  22. JackBlacksVoice

I just get to enjoy the fact that this bum retires ringless. Fuck chris paul

  23. SharkBaitDLS

I really hope we can keep him somehow to run the bench. I’m sure someone else will pay him more than what we can offer though.

  24. swiftycent

Really was underwhelmed with him this year. He had some good stretches but so many 8 second violations, over and back….too often he got bullied by bigger guards and looked old and slow. I don’t see it getting better. CP of 3 years ago could be a big impact on this team…but this version wasn’t enough to do it all year…cant do it against teams like Sac tonight…the idealized version of CP3 probably helps us not blow so many games all year but he wasn’t enough, injury prone, and is just going to be older. So long CP3.

  25. dating_derp

He was a great bench player to have. I wish he didn’t cost 30mil next year. If his contract was for 15, I’d say keep him. But he’s also dangerous because his archetype is too tempting to Kerr’s small ball addiction. So contract or not, it seems like we can’t keep both him and Kerr.

  26. venmome10cents

Nobody wants to admit it, but he was never anything better than a lateral move from Poole in the short term with ZERO future upside.

His expiring contract just means that Lacob gets to save a boatload of luxury tax cash (mega-yacht-load, actually).
