This isnāt rocket science, thatās exactly what u have to do and for some reason teams donāt do it. Ppl donāt make Jokic play defence and heās just resting and killing teams on offence. Bring him out to the 3pt line and target him, get the switches. I donāt even see Lebron doing much of it and heās got the highest iq on the team.

Just my opinion , but I think thatās the problem. Yes Jokic is great and clearly the best player on the Nuggets , but focusing your entire game plan into containing or stopping him is not going to work. Jokic is one of the greatest passers weāve seen and the Nuggets knock down open shots. I could be wrong , but I would personally focus more on Jamal Murray and the role players. Oh and DO NOT double Jokic. AD needs to handle that himself. Go Lakers

Easier said than done. AD shoots fadeaways with his back parallel to the floor when he attacks Jokic. We need someone like Zion that is looking to attack his opponent with force. Bron is the only guy that can take it to Jokics chest. Maybe even Rui. But that’s about it.

The problem is Dlo and Reaves can not attack the rim. They don’t have the athleticism. That’s why when we had Westbrook we could beat them.

He is not Prime MJ, Kobe, Hakeem, Lebron, Duncan and Wilt who were elite on offense and defense. He is not an elite offense and an elite defensive player at the same time aka a dominate 2 way player.
He is an elite offensive player and a poor defensive player. You attack him and make him work on defense and stop him from hiding.

It is the fact that all 3 centers could score (Javale with lops/pick and rolls for lobs/running the floor, Dwight lobs/put backs/post ups/running the floor/pick and rolls for lops, AD with Isos/drives/mid ranges/threes/running the floor/put backs/pick and rolls for lobs.
Plus Lebron getting Isos on him after switches and attacking him.
By the 4th of those bubble games you could see Joker pulling a Roberto Duran and saying “No Mas” because the Lakers were wearing his ass out (“Pause”) on offense and defense.

Game plan to beating Denver donāt focus on Jokic let him do his thing. Honestly I wouldnāt even try to guard him id focus on making Murray have trash games id focus on getting Aaron Gordan outta his position, make Porter JR uncomfortable asf while shooting try to trick him on defense he has slow feet, then KCP he canāt beat teams by himself get him into shot chucking mode.
