  1. You can always tell when someone watches a team less than 3 times a yr except through Twitter highlights. Here's a couple examples.

  2. Look at "Mind the Game" making my favourite podcasters smarter, I doubt I would've heard Trey refer to "The Nail" without it. lol

  3. As a Knicks fan in my Mid 20s this is the first time ive ever had hope. Bring on Boston bring on Denver, im sorry Philly you nothing but a speed bump πŸ§‘πŸ’™πŸ§‘

  4. When the Boston Celtics win the Eastern conference I believe it is going to be the easiest Eastern conference championship in NBA history or at least in recent history that comes to my mind. I was thinking that either Philly or the troublesome heat would be there to challenge the Celtics in the first round and light a fire under their asses but it's not going to be the sixers and now Jimmy Butler looks like he's out of the playoffs so forget about the Heat being pesky again this year. Add that to a Knicks team without Julius Randle and the Milwaukee Bucks team that has been on and off all year but now has their Superstar on the injury report for at least a few games. That leaves a healthy Orlando or Indiana. What kind of insane odds would you get for either of those teams making a dent in the conference finals? I'd say a couple hundred bucks bet on either of those teams might get you a decent used car.
Sorry I forgot to mention the Cleveland Cavaliers but so has everybody else in the world. The Cavaliers aren't scaring anybody and you know how bad they are because they weren't ready to take on whoever was coming up against them and manipulated the final game of the year so that they wouldn't have to play a tougher team. As bad as the Eastern conference looked at the very beginning of the season it looks a whole lot worse now come playoff time. At this point I'm not even sure that the Celtics should have to play the game? Maybe they can just get a direct seed at the NBA finals table without having to pretend that any of these other potential series are going to be closed.

  5. With the way that Joel was playing that was a sixers team ready to be upset if anything resembling the typical Miami Heat postseason team has shown up they would have stopped them last night but it looks like the Miami Heat that we saw all year long are really the Miami Heat team this year. This got me thinking about something. How many times did you guys mention Tyler Herro's name this year? It feels like he's been a non-factor for most of this whole season.

  6. Butlers injury was when he landed awkwardly I think not when Oubre landed on him. By the way Butler slid both his feet, one at a time.

  7. I love seeing gamblers draining everything down the drain and they only have themselves to blame. House always wins and Gamblers keeps gambling.

  8. I'm so sad with all the injuries. I get it's a part of the game, but man I just wish we could see full strength at some point

  9. The only reason I don’t want tray getting traded it’s cause I dont want him on the lakers πŸ˜‚

  10. hot take usually the cold open is an eye roll from me but today was a home run. literally stopped what i was doing to find that clip on tiktok today during the work day. cheers JD

  11. Seriously, Coby White should be the MIP. We've seen Maxey and we already knew he was a great player. No one at the beginning of the season was expecting this kind of improvement from Coby.

  12. I run a male modeling agency deep in rural Kentucky and I would like to extend an offer to Kirby. If you'd like to come to my male modeling shack I'd send you an offer

Edit: I cant afford the airfare but I promise you'll be a star baby

  13. I watched only the second half, so I didn't see how brutal Embiid was on the beginning of this game, but I thought he was super clutch in the moments the 76ers needed someone to step up. His rebounding, in particular, was super clutch in the last 10 minutes. He may not have had energy or been as good as he usually does, but he came up clutch over and over again. Hitting all of his free throws in the last few minutes was huge too.

  14. I disagree that Jontay's status as a fringe NBA player played any role in him getting banned. Betting against yourself and your team will never fly in professional sports leagues, especially now with how prevalent legal gambling is. The NBA stands to lose way more by compromising the "integrity" of the game vs what they would lose if they banned any single player. Plus what Jontay did was just so incredibly stupid and blatant that nobody would be able to get away with that.

  15. 1 year and 1 month of being sad about the chances of a NO CHAINS disc golf podcast πŸ™
