How do you feel about the Rockets extending Rafael Stone's contract?
I sort of don’t like it but it is what it is.
While I still don’t trust Stone I however trust Ime. As long as Ime continues to have a high voice in the organization and Stone listens to his input then everything is going to be ok.
Even if some people don’t trust the front the office I think a lot of people figured Stone isn’t going anywhere as long as Ime continues to coach and help this team win games.
So yeah if Stone can make the right moves and he listens and works together with Ime then I’ll tolerate and eventually warm up to him as the GM of our team.
Regardless though the future is bright the next step is getting to the playoffs.

I love it. People complaining about TyTy Washington trade as if he has panned out lol. Dude has done a masterful job rebuilding this roster. Six great picks that fit together well. Got Adams as a steal. Fleecing the Nets for their picks. Team was 41-41 this year with injuries in one of the toughest Western conferences in recent history. Stone has been doing an absolutely wonderful job. The entire "dumpster fire organization" is laughable considering Rockets have arguably been a top five organization the past 30-40 years when it comes to being competitive. The vast majority of the league has been worse than the Rockets in modern times. Players have always loved coming to play here and national media heavily influenced by NY and California know that. Rockets were never looked at as a joke by NBA players and those are the only opinions that matter
I don't like Stone. Patrick is the one that wanted Ime. Stone wanted Frank Vogel. Had we hired Vogel we probably would have signed James Harden to a max contract. That wouldn't turn into a 41-41 season. Also I didn't like that Stone did not get help for our playoff push. Dallas went out and got Daniel Gafford and PJ Washington. Stone is not motivated to improve the team. He has already said he wants to stay pat and have the young players improve. Stone's next big free agent signing is going to be signing Boban to his next contract.
Signing Alpi and Jalen now hurts our flexibility. The only way either of them gets a contract this off-season is if another team approaches Stone with a trade he cannot pass up and part of the trade is extending them to extra years. I don't expect that to happen though. Dallas already offered 2 second round picks for Tate and Stone said no and Tate hardly played at all afterwards. SMH.
I’m not sure if they deserve it but it already inked in January my biggest issue not making any trades
