In the last game against Denver we played a really solid game, but we can do better. One major difference was that Cam got a lot of time as the POA off the bench against Murray. That’ll be Gabe this time and I can’t wait. It’s not that he’ll stop Murray, but we were so close and Gabe is just better than Cam. The other aspects (screening, cutting, passing, moving, fuckin everything else) Gabe can provide that slight edge we need.

Multiple Lakers front office members have eyes.

Having a guard that isn’t terribly slow on the perimeter defensively is incredible. Finally somebody that somewhat replaces the KCP/AC role

What having a guard who can defend does

I think, in a way, this series comes down to Gabe and his ability to play defense on Murray. If he can disrupt murray and give him some off nights then the lakers have a chance.

It gets very tricky unfortunately….we cant really play three guards on court against Denver. Offense will have to suffer if we give Gabe a lot of minutes to track Murray

The big thing w Gabe is that if he can not get blown up on every screen, it limits the amount of time Murray has a clean look coming off and maybe limits how much we are scrambling in rotation. If Murray can be his average self and not a 30 ppg ish guy on elite efficiency, that will be VERY helpful

Imagine if we still had caruso smh

Gabe Vincent isn’t the difference between a title and a first round loss. But he will be a really important piece of the puzzle here. I’m glad we have him, and that he’s rounding into form.

Gabe is a dog. I respected Dennis because he was a dog too, but Gabe is built like a Pitbull and may be better suited to deal with someone like Murray if Dlo becomes playoffs Dlo again.

I’d love to have a bruiser to make Jokic work though. Davis is a great defender, but his value isn’t holding ground against a big body.

I wish we kept Pip Jr. We wouldn’t have missed a beat while Gabe was out.

A couple of months ago everyone wanted to trade him

Regardless of what happens this season, I’m hyped for healthy Vando and Gabe next season if Lakers don’t blow it up for some blockbuster trade

He made two shots and let Alvarado control the game. Let’s not get too excited.

Played great defense and finally hit some threes. He has arrived!

Literally all we need him to do is guard Murray and hit 3’s above 35% and we have a chance man
