[Grant Afseth] Jason Kidd said that regarding Dereck Lively II’s status for Game 1, “everything is trending in the right direction” and “he’s ready to roll.” Kidd mentioned Lively has looked good working with the second unit this week.

Nah lively is actually amazing. Being ready mentally so fast isn’t an easy feat at all.
Whole season problem with injuries and right before playoffs everybody is healthy and ready to go. Ideal scenario for a good run, hopefully WCF minimum

Sometimes I have to remind myself that the bulk of that 16-2 run the Mavs went on at the end of the season was done WITHOUT LIVELY, and they still managed that record. So hyped to see how much better he makes the rotation now that they’ve all gelled.
