We already beat the # 1 defense in the nba, now we have to beat the #24th best defense in the nba

knicks #24 defense won’t last. they’re gonna fly around game one and we need to match that. idk if joel can for 7 games
Timmeh_Timbo
No clue why they are 24th the last 10 games but for the season they are ranked 9th defense rating. (we are 11th despite missing Joel for a massive chunk)

Goldberry graphics are fantastic.

What jumps out is people overreacted to the Sixers terrible 1st half offensive showing vs what has been the best defense in the league. They adjusted extremely well with 66 2nd half points.
Knicks running virtually no zone is great news, bc if they ever try it in the series it’ll almost surely be nothing close to the Heat’s

Bucks already in playoff form, the Glenn Rivers special

Cavs being 27th in defensive efficiency is really surprising to me given their personnel.
Also Sixers in 5.

Last 10 is a dumb metric

I hope 24th in defensive rating will result in us being a lot more aggressive than them and attacking the basket more than them. I’m really hoping for some motion offense that will break down the defense and allow our guys to get cooking early so that way we feel like we have a chance to be in control of the series. I mean after the heat game we really shouldn’t fear any other team because I feel like they played us the hardest any of these teams are going to play us, but all you need is one good night to change an entire series and we need to make sure that they don’t have any good nights.

The Knicks will be better simply because they will be allowed to foul in the playoffs and it will be called “tough defense” and “playoff officiating.”

Heat being #1 in defense helps ail a lot of my worries after that game

So the Knicks are a good offensive team, but below average defensively. The Sixers should have no issue getting enough points, but they need to take care of business on the Defensive end.

We had a cupcake schedule to end the season so not the most indicative.

This is why I dismiss all the people from other fanbases saying the win over the heat was unimpressive. Good form and Spoelstra playoff scheming

We got Embiid back, they lost Randle.
