  1. I really haven’t been this confident about any sports teams that I supported as this years Mavs team after the trade. They could win it all. I’ve been a fan for almost 26 plus years now. This is the most confident team that I’ve seen. They have grit.

  2. Kirk, have you thought about how Kyrie’s relationship with Ty Lue could be a benefit to the Mavs.
Kyrie won a Championship under Lue as head coach…

    I cant wait till Sunday…

  3. One cheesy thing I’ve always had in my head with guarding K Leonard is first time in the series he does his signature hop step where he drop his elbow into the defender’s stomach or chest you have to player act as if it either knocks the breath out of him (chest) or nauseates you (stomach). It would set the tone for the refs to see that contact early on and at least be ready for it. It’s a super lame underdog sports movie tactic though, lol.

  4. One issue with what Matthew said in the beginning about MVP, Philly had a better record than Denver last year. Embiid finished strong while Denver kinda just took it easy the last month or so.

  5. Gobert wasn’t the problem in Utah. It’s a false narrative. Mavs fans of all people should understand how this works after going through this with how the media treated Dirk for years.

Gobert had no help defensively, and they asked him to do literally everything. They asked him to run out to corner shooters, switch on perimeter guys, drop back and protect the rim, all at the same time.
