AD scored 37 last year and Lakers still lost. LeBron goes 31 in a half and finished with 40 and they still got swept. They combined for nearly 60 yesterday and they still lost.
Good job, Denver. Let them go off because Jokic and Murray will cancel them out. You gotta make sure Reaves, DLo, and Hachimura don’t go off. You make sure MPJ, Gordon, and KCP outplays them.
The Lakers are nothing when it’s only AD and LeBron doing most of the scoring load. No Dwight Howard to save them now. Too small, Lakers. Denver is going to be a mismatch nightmare when you double Jokic and 6’10 MPJ and 6’8 AG are standing there waiting for his pass. Even Lakers’ backcourt of DLo and AR is small and unathletic.

Let’s also not underestimate REGGIE JACKSON. Back in 2021, Clippers fans called him Mr. June. He loves beating the Lakers. He wants that smoke. If the game gets close, he’s capable bailing Denver out. Reggie has shown to be way more clutch in the playoffs than DLo has ever shown.
We already know DLo is LeBrat’s scapegoat when Lakers fails this year and they will fail. DLo took 420 almost literally by going 620. These next 3-4 more games will be his last wearing a Lakers uniform.
I don’t care if Lakers get Klay, Trae, and CP3 on a bargain. They’re still not tall enough to handle Denver’s starting lineup. You’re just not good enough, Lakers. You can’t rely on a guy in Season 21. You are a 7th seed for a reason.

The Heat went up 3-0 against the Celtics and nearly swept them in ECF last year…then the Celtics came storming back to tie the series and eventually lost to the Heat in a game 7 in Boston on there home floor…so Celtics better not lose to the Heat in the first round especially now that the Heat are gonna be without Jimmy buckets…should be a fun series to watch regardless.
Celtics are going to beat the Heat then the Cavs then the bucks then the Nuggets, Clippers, Mavericks or Suns.
Last year isn't This year. I suspect more than just a few folks are going to have to learn that.
