The Celtics are 6-1 in their last seven games against Miami, including 3-0 this season (119-111, 143-110, 110-106). On the other hand, Boston has lost five straight Game 1’s to Miami. All-time, Boston is 12-1 against the Heat when making at least 16 three-pointers.

Hoping for a quick series where no one gets hurt 🙏
miami’s gonna come out blazing but we are absolutely defending the garden this year so
Every home team won yesterday to start the playoffs. Let’s not be the first..
Lets body these pipsqueaks
Since 2018 the Celtics are
7-3 in series where they won G1
3-3 in series where they lost G1
Since 2020 the Heat are
8-1 I’m series where they won G1 (ironically it was 2022 vs Boston)
0-3 in series where they won G1
They’re wining this one by 30
Just praying for no injuries
All I can hope for is clean play from the Miami Heat
The second I start seeing them dive for balls in the first quarter when our guys are looking in the other direction, I will know what they are trying to do to injure our guys again.
6 out of last 7… I’m fine, I swear.
The past is the past.
I’m cautiously optimistic which I feel is the healthy attitude going into this game. We haven’t seen the Celtics play their best basketball in over a month, which is not historically indicative, but nevertheless…it’s been a while. We will see. I think a fast start is crucial.
I’m not loving all the hype about this series. We are playing an 8 seed who has their best player injured, this should be a boring series that nobody is talking about much. But everyone acts like this is gonna be a super close series. Ready for it to be over
