And then 4 years down the line, when our players are in their prime and when we have a really good team and Jarace struggles in the playoffs they’ll say, “but this is his first playoffs with meaningful minutes”. This fanbase’s goal has always been to merely win a playoff series or 2, they aren’t interested in building a juggernaut. The bald man needs to go, Hali needs to score at least 25 PPG, and he should under no circumstances defer to Nembhard.

Our starters played them even. Need to shorten the rotation. Shepherd made a whole host of rookie plays. Play McConnel and Obi (and hope he hits some threes) and the starters. That’s all we need barring foul trouble.

Hopefully the film stands out to Rick like it did to me and McDermott doesn’t get anymore playoff minutes but yeah this was a flat out bad decision by Rick and a very bad one. No reason not to give those minutes to Nembhard or TJM

Doug is the textbook guy who gets played off of the floor in the playoffs (cannot defend, and doesn’t score/provide enough to offset it)…which makes it that much more head-scratching that he played at all during important minutes today.
