  1. Man I remember watching that game in 2019 against the spurs. The range of emotion I had when I watched Kawhi strip DeRozan and go for the dunk. It was like an unofficial passing of the torch moment (in the worst way possible)…

  2. Every team has a window in which they will be successful. The raptors had a great run and it came to an end. Just like any other good-great team in the past. It’s just how the NBA works and is what makes the league entertaining.

  3. Is it really a collapse? It was just Kawhi leaving in FA. The team is at best mid tier without Kawhi.

  4. Pascal carried the team since Kawhi left. Worst part, Raptors had the pieces to compete, to make deep playoff runs at the least.

  5. Sadly to see raptors rebuild again. But give some credit to masai to trade Siakam and Og away. They are not key player to build and not worth max contract.

  6. Masai try to get Giannis. He had severely weakened the team to do so. When it didn’t happen the Raptors got caught in slow decline.

  7. We were the perfect buyers when it came to NBA teams of that era picking up Kawhi, Danny, Ibaka, Gasol, etc and trading Greivous Vasquez for OG & Norman Powell. But when it was our turn to be the sellers we just couldn't give up on our guys and that ultimately killed us but we believed in us.

The main catalyst is the 2020 season in which we were on pace for a 60 win season before covid and lost our homecourt advantage against the Celtics, still we were a possession away from the conference finals after losing Danny & Kawhi.

  8. It's not a collapse, it's called dismantling a team in one year. NBA is so scripted. Can't be taken serious. Fake injuries. Fake everything.

  9. I've been a Raptors fan since day 1, my dad even took me to the first ever game. It was so nice seeing them win after all those terrible years. That being said, I don't think the future is as bright as others seems to think. I've never been sold on Barnes. Every night he continues to be lazy and complains to refs on every play. Barrett, who's only been with the team for a few weeks, gives 110% every night and it shows. I still think Masai not trading Barnes for KD after that rookie season will go down as one of his biggest mistakes on his time in Toronto. Sure KD has an injury history but he's still one of the best players in the league and their window was still open, heck KD even said he grew up a Raptors fan and would've loved to play for them. KD, Pascal, Poeltl, FVV would've been a solid team. However anytime you mention that on the Raptors sub, you get downvoted into oblivion. They keep saying Barnes is better and will go down better than KD ever was. Well Barnes is averaging 20.3/5.8/8.1 in his third season compared to KD's third season which was 30.1/2.8/7.6. Even this season at 35 years old, KD is putting up 28.3/5.7/6.3. This team needs to get rid of Barnes before other teams start to see his ceiling is a 6th man of the year.

  10. crazy to think Kawhi won a chip against the team that injured him. Also, the karma GSW lost two stars to injury that series for what zaza did to Kawhi. Talk about debts paid

  11. Not exactly a collapse, after kawhi left we knew we’d never win a title with the core, just took too long to fully tear it down

  12. Penny Hardaway you're next video Jay Warvz 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

  13. At least we have a great baseline to start a rebuild with RJ, IQ, and Scottie. As a raps fan, I’d rather have this and build long term than be mid and know our ceiling is a first round exit

  14. If they had traded Barnes for KD they still be good but mfers acy like Barnes the next pippen.
