Good topic! I have no idea what the Spurs will do (so many options), but I will give my opinion on Trae vs Dejounte. I'll take DJ back. I like his size, his quickness, his rebounding, and his defense. He is a great all-around player and I think he would be OK with being Robin to Wemby's Batman (Spurs would make sure of that before they take him back). His age doesn't bother me. He has at least 6 more great years in him. I can look past the way he comported himself when he left, as long as he can fit back into the locker room. He could have been more professional when he was traded, but hey, we all LOVE DeMar DeRozan and feel he is a class act, but he said some things when he left Toronto that probably didn't endear him to that fanbase. It's personal. Nah, if we can get him back without giving up too much, go for it!
We don’t need either of those guys what we need is players that understand their roles, don’t know if anybody noticed but we played better when role players were starting in the last few games, I know some were meaningless but you can’t deny the fact that the offense flowed better with Wemby being the main guy for the whole game

In my opinion all these trade scenarios come down to what pick we get in the draft and if we fall in love with any of the PG prospects. Personally I would not trade for Trae but would welcome DJ back for the right price. Spurs are in a very good situation where we own the Hawks future so they can’t really afford to tank but if they do that’s just gravy for us

In my opinion trae young want badly to leave atlanta. Also atlanta want their picks back. spurs should bargain hard they have the upper hand in the deal. they can use trae in a three way deal so that they get additional shooter wingman or guard next season. I suspect reed sheppard is the spurs choice in the draft. Vassell can move to Sf or stay as guard it depends on what the spurs will get from a trade deal. Trae youngs attitude is a problem but he can be useful as a tool to get the players that spurs need.
