DNVR guys just made a great point. This first round sweep might kill the IST in its infancy. Win it and get swept in the playoffs. No one will respect it.

  2. Nuggets Wolves next round is the real NBA finals. That’s our hardest matchup by far, if we beat them no one else is stopping us

  3. UnderratedNightmare

No team has ever came back from an 0-3 deficit.

  4. smalltoes

I’d say sometimes it just feels good to win one but that was eleven or some shit so yeah feels good to win eleven. Or ten. Whatever

  5. BillyNoMates12

AD and LeBron are the only two guys showing ANY kind of heart. AD had 33 points and 15 rebounds and LeBron had a nice 26/6/9 stat line. Reaves showed up tonight too with 22 points. Everyone else though? Awful

The “Jokic Stopper” Hachimura had 5 points. DLo had ZERO points. Their bench had 19 points total (out scored the Nuggets bench though). Just awful man

  6. swordfischh

It’s funny that the Lakers narrative has become that they’re losing because of Ham and not our great roster

  7. about90frogs

MPJ hit the dagger 3 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd. As soon as Denver went up 3 the Lakers basically rolled over

  8. ImGonnaChubbBradley

The 2nd most competitive sweep in history!!

  9. Savahoodie

If Reggie can’t play next game, does Malone just shorten the rotation and give his minutes to Braun, or does strawther maybe see the floor?

  10. UnrequitedTerror

A lot of good hustle again, but I think this nuggets team needs to elevate their game. In my opinion this should’ve been a +20pt win given the talent/discipline differential here tonight.

It feels like they’re not getting into a dominant groove fast enough

  11. lilgohanx

I love Chuck. Dude tells it like it is, lakers fans needa stfu

  12. kdeselms

We were starting to look like ourselves in that second half. It feels like we are getting warmed up now.

  13. pairidaezan

Lakers fans are beside themselves. They don’t know what to do. They don’t know what they want their team to do. The reality is that this Lakers squad is about to get blown TF up.

  14. Pelicans fans here. Good series and please sweep them again!

  15. DutyPuzzleheaded7765

Oh my gosh Reaves is still crying during the post game pressor

  16. kdeselms

Maybe it’s me, but “Fire Ham” just doesn’t have the same ring to it as “Fire Malone.” Maybe “Smoke Ham.” Except I guess that doesn’t have the right connotation slang-wise lol

  17. boydivision30

Remember back in October when AD was talking shit about raring to play us this season? Rofl

  18. coreyslip43

It makes me real happy to see MPJ just having the confidence to look up and scan the field in transition to see who’s open and then shooting if there is nothing. Even if he might have missed the cutter, it’s little things like that that show how hard he has worked to improve his game all around to the point where he can contribute even when his shot is not falling.

With him firing on all cylinders like this plus the usual Jokic/Murray/AG play, we are the definition of “Death by a thousand cuts.” Literally.

On another separate but related note, this team is just beautiful to watch play ball, man.

“Are we just gonna stay on tv until LeBron gets out of the shower? It’s 1:19 am. Get your ass out of the shower LeBron.” — Chuck

  20. Bit of a surreal game. Felt very… in control, definitely feels like whatever they do this team can always catch up and dictate the flows of the game. Tremendous game by AG. Hope Reggie is okay.

  21. Hopeful-Cup-1527

Lakers off-season is my new favorite thing to think about. DLo could end up the best player in their roster at the start of next season. Lol.

  22. Hopeful-Cup-1527

In minutes with no Jamal, I want CB and Joker running the PG. We just need to get past half court and get the ball in Jokers hands. Easy.

  23. tarspaceheel

When this season’s schedule came out, I said something to the effect that I’d really really like to keep up our win streak over the Lakers. just one more to go!

  24. Fit-Avocado-342

This series is pretty much over, lakers looked mentally checked out at the end of this one. Never seen a team so thoroughly dominated by an opponent in a while. Very satisfying.

  25. Dmanning2

Ok so LeBron has nothing left to prove in the league. He’s going to play in his 40s to collect 50mil a year checks. Will Jeanie let one man control the franchise(drafting his son) or will she offload him and Davis to Cleveland and start the rebuild?

  26. December1220

My favorite Lakers fan cope is “now ratings will be bad.”

  27. TheOrthodoxPolock

There was a point in the 3rd where it pretty much became Anthony Davis tries to outscore the entire Denver Nuggets offense hitting on all cylinders and it was by far my favorite part of the game. Just so damn futile.

  28. 3pointrange

Lakers fan here. Sad that we got utterly outclassed but here to say that yall play legitimately amazing basketball. It lowkey reminds me of how the spurs played back in the day but even more dominant.

Jokic is amazing to watch. Nikola “Tesla” Jokic just connects all the dots on the court, it’s almost as if there’s never a bad possession with the team set with him on your scoring half of the court. Also Jamal Murray man… slices through defence like a hot knife.

Tuned in to some of your games in the regular season as well and I’ve honestly never seen a team play a set defence in your scoring half so well. Yall just get whatever yall want.

Your defence is also a headache to play against man… yall are able to switch everything and play it so well. Best of luck for the remaining games yall have.

  29. LeBron “at the end of the day it’s just basketball”

  30. snakejakemonkey

Watson struggled a bit with Bron game 1

    Last 2 games he’s a combined +20 in 27 total mins

    So impactful out there.

  31. DirkolaJokictzki

Gary Harris has won more playoff games this season than the entire Lakers roster put together.

  32. confusedjuror

In game 2, Murray was shooting poorly and all his teammates came to him and told him to keep shooting. In game 3, dlo was shooting poorly and he was on his phone during a timeout. One of these is a team and one is a vanity project of two tall men

  33. jabbusshi

I am overjoyed that I can watch the greatest nuggets team of all time, multiple times a week, with the world’s greatest player leading the way. Cherish it yall! Long road to go in these playoffs, but damn it feels good.

  34. aatencio91

I’d just like to thank the Nuggets for making the 2nd half pretty stress-free so I could be preoccupied with my other team

A great day for ~~Canada~~ Denver, and therefore the world.

  35. Glove_Upset

I wouldn’t mind Taurean Prince coming off the bench. He’s gotta be sick of LeBron yelling at him when LeBron fucks up.

  36. GhostwoodGG

My favorite moment was when the Lakers wasted a whole shot clock passing it around to end up giving it to dumbwittie for a front iron 3 attempt and the commentator said “that’s still great offense from the Lakers, patient, calculated, finding the right option”

  37. confusedjuror

Jokic shouted out his connection with Gary Harris in his presser. I am bummed that Gary couldn’t be on this team
