Besides, we do need a regular season merchant because our best player will be 35 next season and he usually doesn’t take regular season seriously. We need a young star who can carry us for the entirety of the season, and Donovan would be exactly that. I’m tired of being an 8 seed. We had to play an extra game because our regular season record was poor and look what happened. Jimmy got injured. If we had been anything above 7 seed we could’ve easily avoided that injury.

Herro is streaky. That’s why he’s up and down. Donovan has shown he can wreck opponents in a playoffs more often than Herro has shown he can even be available for them. People aren’t crazy to want Donovan. However, if Herro stays good this playoffs, then you know, it might up his value or we might keep him.
I like our young guys, but I don’t think I have to hate on a player just because he’s not on our team. Mitchell has playoff career averages of 27/5/5. That’s nothing to outright dismiss.

I disagree and agree at the same time, it’s true that in the last 2 seasons he was a reagular season player, but before that he had some amazing perofrmances, also even as a regular season “merchant” he would help us avoid the play-in which would be HUGE. That said I agree that I want to keep Jaine and Jovic, really tough predicament.

I don’t want to deal the real Js. If nuggets stay great, I think Jaime can guard Gordon. Jokic is also necessary. As his body fills out he will be amazing on D. He is showing flashes at 20 imagine a couple more years with heat training. I love dmitch but small and injury prone imo.

I like Mitchell a lot and I think they’ll try and trade for him, but I doubt they include either Jaquez or Jovic. They seem too high on both, especially with how they’re stepping up during playoffs and not shrinking from the moment. I’d more expect them to trade herro/duncan/new draft pick/etc more likely than those 2.

I think it’s funny everyone is so focused on that third star. Three stars alone aren’t getting you that title. You still need a good supporting cast around them. This team is already lacking in talent, and what little we have would be going out in any trade. You also wouldn’t have much cap space left. So how are we planning to fill out a title contending roster?
