Id do either of them but zach is one of the worst contracts in the league. I doubt he gets traded this offseason

Why does every trade posted to this sub include us giving up first round picks. Enough with this garbage. We need to draft and develop young talent. Nothing else matters until we draft a player who becomes a superstar. Until that happens we will continue to be stuck in purgatory

Our pick goes to San Antonio next year unless it’s within the top 10. We should be trading everyone not named Coby/Ayo/I guess Julian for draft capital and high upside projects

I think you are right that it would take draft picks to make any deal for Zach that brings back any rotation quality player happen. And while I want him off the team too I don’t want to pay someone to take him.
If he can start out next season strong then the market for him improves significantly so that maybe we could give him away without having to throw in draft picks. And I actually don’t think having him start next season hurts the tanking campaign, so might as well do it. Tell Billy to feed him shots (especially if they involve taking away 3 point shots from Vuc, which would indirectly make him look better to potential trade partners as well) watch him get some empty calorie 30 point games and wait for a stupid team (Phoenix comes to mind as part of a three teamer) to think that they can make Zach Lavine work.

The Jazz would never trade for Zach. They traded away Gobert and Mitchell for like a dozen draft picks and are clearly intent on building their future around a much younger core.

We aren’t really better with Collins and Sexton then we are with Zach and we aren’t getting younger guys/draft picks so why make this trade? When you trade their should be a point. Either your offloading to rebuild or your bringing guys in to get better. This trade does neither.
