[Shams] There is doubt that Bucks All-Stars Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf strain) and Damian Lillard (Achilles tendon strain) will be able to play in potential elimination Game 5 vs. Pacers on Tuesday down 3-1, sources say. Both have tricky strains that complicate returns and create risk.

It’s so shitty they have this injury excuse. All of us wanted the 6 seed so we could face the Bucks because we matchup well with them, but now that we’re here it’s all ā€œBucks missing this player and that player.ā€ So annoying because I have little doubt we’d also beat them at full strength.

  2. Achilles tear means they miss next year too. Better safe than getting paved!

They honestly should rest them for the long term

Tomorrow is the easiest opportunity to close this thing out. It only gets more difficult the longer we take. Don’t give them life

Built in excuse. They’re thanking their lucky stars they don’t have to get embarrassed like they did all season and can say ā€œthe playoffs woulda been different.ā€ We’re a better team, were all season. Their time has come and gone unless they do a perfect rebuild next season.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see Giannis play and Dame sit tomorrow. Dame being in a walking boot a couple days ago and admitting he played OT strictly as a decoy in game 3 makes it seem unlikely he’d be healthy enough to go. Giannis was running Sunday morning.

  7. A large part of the Bucks fan base said they should shut them both down until next year and I agree

Kinda bummed the series went this way with injuries but if we move on we will be tested in the next series

You always want to prove you’re the best against the best but as a fan of the NBA, a healthy Giannis and Dame to start the season next year is way better than a failed attempt at a 1-3 comeback ending in tragedy.

Pacers are 7-2 against the Bucks this year. They can have all the excuses they want, lol.

I got banned from the bucks subreddit for calling them out on their bs šŸ˜‚. Every post is ā€œwe’d kill them with Giannis and Lillardā€ umm we did play you all a few times during the reg season.

Giannis hasn’t even started scrimmaging with the team. As much hope they had that he could’ve returned this series they would have been lucky for him to come back late next series.

Damn I’d hate to seem them get injured again, might as well rest them to be safe šŸ˜

ā€œIt’s not fair. This basically doesn’t even count. I can’t wait for the Knicks to MURDER YOU!!!!ā€

Here’s a long rivalry with another small market team. But for now, we fucking pave.

  16. Friar_Ferguson

Good. Now let’s get this one and wait for our real rivals the Knicks. Pacers vs Knicks in the playoffs was best rivalry of the 90s. Could care less about Milwaukee. There won’t be a 30 for 30 about pacers vs bucks

I get the frustration. And the regular season is a totally different beast than the playoffs. But we have been the better team in both.
