If DG is DAR or Mike Conley or whoever, then the team’s ceiling is what? The Hollins / Joerger Grizzlies? 55 wins?
I don’t think I’m mad at that if that’s the next four or five years. You’d like to be in the title mix but that at least takes you through the next decade in a fun competitive place.
(ETA: I think DG’s ceiling is higher but it’s fair to note DAR and Conley were high lotto picks too – think Conley was 3 and DAR was 2)
