The Pels need to decide about Ingram, and it appears like they are leaning away from re-signing him. Ingram would be ideal for us, when healthy of course. Orlando needs a PG and have been public about their enthusiasm for Simons. We need to move our vets and get some long term cap relief, and to get better at SF.

Everyone says no to this trade because not a single team gets anything they want
This is a terrible trade for the Blazers
Pretty funny to talk about Orlando’s enthusiasm for Simons and then ship him to a different team in a three team trade involving Orlando.
This trade doesn’t work. Markelle Fultz is a free agent and cannot be traded after the deadline. The only way would be if he consented to a sign and trade, which would need to be for three seasons. No thanks to three years of ANOTHER guard, especially not for 25mil.
Beyond that though, still no, I don’t see any of the teams doing this (others have given reasons why below).
I’d do that trade.
