He’s putting them on notice that they can’t keep kicking the can down the road and he will just be sitting there … it really is on the owner and front office now…. 🥶

He’s told them this since the hawks ended their tank early. This is nothing new. The day he believes they can’t win with him is the day he asks for a trade.

I started watching basketball and the Hawks because of Trae but this last deadline where no moves were made kinda cemented it for me that this FO is not a winning FO and I would want to see Trae go to a team that is serious. Of course I’ve grown attachment to many hawks player but missing the playoffs completely after not making any trades at the deadline is so fucking insane to me I would rather see him play somewhere else.

This is how we all feel, Trae. Right there with you bro.

Can’t really blame him honestly

Not even interesting words .. he’s gonna be 26 soon , nearing the peak of his prime .. what direction are we going Atlanta ?? Prove it

Trae just confirming what we already knew, that this was pressure on the front office. Landry has to make a big splash this summer or we could be looking at a trade request by All Star break. Trae just had his first major injury and hes entering his prime and bro doesn’t seem content to waste it on salary dumping and money saving moves. Tbh completely understand the position

This is nothing new from Trae Young, but I do think we’re heading towards a climax. If the Atlanta Hawks run the same tram back next, I think Young will ask out after an inevitable first round exit.

I’m just grateful he’s been loyal to the A for so long. No one should blame him if he wants a trade.

Landry pissing down his leg right now.

This is a page out of the Dame Lillard playbook. Obviously didn’t work out for the Blazers in the end, but Dame did play a really long time in Portland before actually leaving. Other stars have done this before too.
Not where you want to be, but he’s right to put pressure on the front office to try and make moves to compete.

No hate towards him if he asks out
