What a game. I still can’t calm down lol. I love you Maxey. And embiid you were ass but thanks for stepping up defensively in OT

  2. AkinTheLonelyMan

Embiid really needs to play superhuman these last two games.. he’s been bad

  3. foggyfortune

What a deeply emotionally unpleasant 2.5+ hours for something that turned out to ultimately be a happy occasion lol

  4. Front_Explanation_79

Embiid got a triple double on one leg, with one eye, and a migraine. Tell me he won’t go off on game six?

  5. ranchsauce13

The absolute balls on Maxey to take that shot with the season on the line, from the fucking logo. Like I still can’t believe that happened.

Ian Eagle was terrible on that call as well, all he said was he got it lol that deserved more love

  6. Idbuytht4adollar

Maxey is everything I was hoping fultz was going to be.

  7. wentzformvp

r/nba babies love to change narratives after the game.

Bunch of upvote loving drones now giving respect to a clearly injured Embiid. It’s almost overwhelmingly pro-Embiid sentiment.

  8. shadowarmy229

Well ig this is the reverse Game 2 then minus the refball

  9. PLAY THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

  10. sixersfindaway

Maxey knew he needed to be the number 1 option. He took responsibility and made it happen.

  11. nice_subs_only

honestly this is exactly how the raptors came back and killed us in that series, nick nurse u can do it again, I might finally forgive you

  12. 2DudesShittinAround

Silver going to force LeBron to go to the Knicks and join forces with flopper Brunson. Just watch.

  13. Cleanupdisc

WE WERE DOWN BY 6 POINTS WITH 25 SECONDS LEFT HOLY SHIIITTTT

  14. This series is 2-3 Knicks. We are +2 overall score-wise.

Embiid is +48 and has had a positive +/- in every single game. Bill Simmons does not understand basketball.

  15. HockeyBrawler09

At one point the commentary was saying ‘if the Knicks hadn’t missed their one free throw towards the end of the 4th quarter, the Sixers would’ve lost in regulation’….. okay, but if Tyrese makes his free throws the Sixers win by 10 in regulation… it was unbelievable how slanted the national broadcast was tonight.

  16. flockofmoose

Maxey rolling up to MSG today

  17. Calcutta637

yalll busy blaming tobias harris over everything but i just wanna give a quick shoutout to KYLE LOWRY helping the team out by picking up 5 fouls so nurse had to bench you. Jesus christ

  18. Kyle76er

I cannot express how much I love Maxey! The celebration at the end of the fourth sums up how competitive he is and how much he wanted this m win!

Huge game and for once we were the team that came out with the win and didn’t choke haha

  19. shrek_cena

Sixers win to disappoint me another day 🙏🏼

  20. Drikkink

Embiid was utterly lost for the majority of this game, had some of the worst turnovers of his career and also looked disinterested.

But you really do have to give him credit for how he played at the end of the game. When shit isn’t going right AT ALL, he still managed to step up and make a huge impact defensively. I’d like to see him not get into his head so much and not let a bad play snowball, but once Maxey gave the spark, he woke up.

  21. economist_

Incredible win. Shit on Embiid all you want but this man is out there clearly injured and still we’d have no chance without him. We just have to play smarter going forward if he’s like this, turnovers almost killed us.

Maxey absolutely brilliant. I could not believe me eyes for once it’s our turn to come back from the dead.

Need this Tobias for the rest of the series. DONT FUCKING CLAP.

    Obligatory fuck the refs.

  22. paizano3

Y’all think this was a concerted effort by nurse to have Joel be more of a playmaker 🧐 seemed they were trying to get the ball humming until they went to embiid like for 4 post ups at the end when they almost lost the game. Felt like all game except then they were trying for ball movement.

  23. NewportStork

Tyrese Kendrid Maxey (born November 4, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers

  24. Philly_is_nice

No one has been able to explain to me why it sounded like WFC all night except at the very end. It’s like the Knicks fans don’t want to talk about how much they impact the game or something.

  25. hawktherapper

one of these games has to be a blowout, right? right??? my heart can’t take this

  26. Educational-Money-81

I need them to start playing Payne more, especially when embidd is tried

  27. jorgelongo222

Guys. Tyrese Maxey is 23 years old. 23 fkn years old!

Didnt want to give him too much flack for the shit G4, because, well, he’s really not supposed to be playing this fucking good at 23 years old

  28. processenjoyer

i cannot emphasize enough, if you’re going to game 6, do everything you can to silence knicks fans in WFC.

  29. jloops03

Think we get Scott “The Extender” Foster for game 6?

  30. prideinthenameoflove

We’ll be good guys. I just bought tickets for game 6 and I have a record of 28-3 when attending philly sports games. /kinda s

  31. pilesofpats012345

remember when Maxey hit that shot like two feet behind the 3pt line and the ref tried to call it a two

  32. TheExorcistMarc

BoomBoom Batum ??? Never say again, thanks

  33. McMillan104

Should be up 3-2 if it wasn’t for that trash reffing job in game 2. But fuck it, Sixers in 7.

  34. jappixslackbot

Hopefully the refs can fast track Maxey to the star foul bait tier next year even though only 24. Usually refs make guys wait till they are a bit older

  35. BiteMeHomie

Much better effort at rebounding this game, just need to bring this type of effort every game.

  36. Bi-SportsFan

Even if we lose the next game I’ll be riding this high for a WHILE holy shit every game this series has been crazy

  37. jappixslackbot

I will not slander Tobias for at least 2 days. (19 pts 7-11fg) 8 boards 0 turnovers.

  38. Jo was sloppy as fuck tonight but he played tough and didn’t mope. Contested everything down the stretch, going to the floor. He also had 10 assists. He’s obviously hurt and he looks like sloth from the goonies. I’m not making excuses, I’m not but in years past he would have mcnabb moped the whole game and he didn’t. I’m sure being mad eye moody without the magic can affect your depth perception.
