That’s fine and all. Jokic will certainly get his place in the top 75 very soon, if not the top 10 by the end of his career. That doesn’t mean AD isn’t a great player because he doesn’t get triple doubles. Lots of great players don’t do that normally.

Having triple doubles doesn’t make you better. Jokic is clearly better, but this doesn’t make Russ better than AD at any point in his career. AD has a much bigger impact on the game than Russ ever has

Am a Jokic fan but to be fair, AD played really well this series and could arguably be the main reason they were in it every game.

As he should be, elite defender, great offensive big who was somewhat of rare breed when he entered the league being a seven footer who had a good handle but could shoot the midrange and work in the post.
Him not having playoff triple doubles isn’t anything to mock him over, he’s not a playmaker and getting 10 blocks is pretty hard to do.
He’s also helped co-pilot a team to a championship and in that season was arguably a top 3 player in the league.
No need to disrespect a guy who was one of the best players in the series we just played against them

AD was the 2nd best player in this entire playoffs so far, dude was a monster on defense and offense.
The fact that the Denver Nuggets overcame that Lakers team is the biggest factor in my confidence that they have a real, quality shot at winning back to back.
A real bummer that the Nuggets couldn’t draw the Mavs side of the bracket, I think they matchup better than Minnesota
