  1. Wolves are more talented this year. The Nuggets are more connected this year …strategy and adjustments will be the difference this year.

  2. literally the title of the podcast that I wanted to listen to. pull up youtube and it's in my feed. yay modernity. haven't listened yet, but yeah, I don't think this matchup is particularly great for the Nuggs. Still have Nuggs in 7 though.

  3. As much as LeBron annoys, the man dominated the east for years and he knows what it takes to win a championship. There was no way he was going to quit or let his team quit. It should be no surprise that the matchup with the Lakers was going to be a grueling slog, especially with a smart and tenacious floor general. We should be glad that the Nuggets have been reminded that in the playoffs they need to expect to get smacked in the mouth and they better be ready to counter that. I feel that the T-Wolves had a much easier matchup and that has given them an inflated sense of confidence. The Suns played like the weakest team in the playoffs and folded when facing a tough defense, KD does not have the heart to lead the team when they are down and the entire team collapsed without a solid floor general.

  4. Matt is looking at it correctly. Adam is stupid. Denver is not the same team as last year. No Bruce Brown and No Bench this year. Yes the starters match up the same but last year. No Jaden McDaniels and No NAZ Reid. When both teams are healthy which only happen once like Oct 31. lol It was a blowout. Bruce Brown and the bench you had last year is gone.

  5. Denver looked tired against LA, too many turnovers, legs were tired/ hurt. LA played with more energy, at least the first halves of all games. Its going to be a long post season this year.

  6. The notion that Denver has no bench is insane. Yes we are missing Bruce Brown but that production can be supplemental with CB, Watson and Reggie

  7. This opening question is a set up. Judging the team against “peak” form allows for Matt to never be wrong with his criticism.

  8. Matt says you can’t repeat patterns from last year, yet he used last year’s series with MN to support his “peak” argument
