Any housing – be it “affordable” or “luxury’ is a win.

  2. Only fitting this dude does something charitable with that contract money since his game has looked like he’s playing for charity for the past 5 years…

  4. nutsygenius

Why not in Philly though? They were kind enough to pay him $180m

  5. WobbleKun

  7. dnfnrheudks

Isn’t affordable in LA like 2k a month

  8. jorgelongo222

Could build a whole neighbourhood with how many bricks he lays

Hope to be wrong, but so many of these “affordable housing” plans feel like developers using empty promises to rush through projects and turn profit quick. They talk about how Mayor Bass has opened the door to turn 3 year projects into 9 month projects. There’s no such thing as an altruistic private developer. There’s very little holding them accountable to a set number of units and to fixed rents at a universally agreed up on definition of affordable. Feels like they all end up as cheaply built starter condos for young professionals who accumulate wealth regardless of getting a favorable real estate deal or not.

Pretty sure he could have built the whole city block with all his bricks.

Can his brother catch a rebound?

I’m confused he’s from New York not LA.

I mean by all means this is a good thing but why?

  13. Mountain_Tone6438

    The government can’t do it…

But the 189th best player in NBA will. Sure bro

  14. 69ersBasketball

Never brought affordable consistency to Philadelphia

  15. Nuggetsbecrispy

People looking for affordable housing shouldn’t be looking in LA

  16. KingArthuro23

Is this how we found out that LeBron is going to join Curry and not the other way around?

  17. TheBiggestBungo

Not like he owes Philly anything after the highway robbery he pulled

  18. Afraid-Department-35

Bruh I thought this was a meme about bricking shots. But they are actually building affordable housing lmao.

  19. Fladap28

This will never pass. It’s a nice thought though

  20. Grampz619

Hes a great guy off the court, no doubt about it. Just wish he was a better basketball player, but will never have a bad thing to say about tobi as a person

  21. EffectiveExact8306

Well he gonna need a place to live after he gets released after the season…/s

  22. defiantcross

Psh, Westbrook has been building brick houses in LA for years

  23. Spiritual-Lecture839

What about your hometown of New York/Long Island…

  24. cricket9818

I went to HS/played against Tobias and then worked as a teacher when Terry went to school there. Super quiet and humble guys, not surprised to hear this at all

  25. itwasa11adream

Imagine if he could bring sustainable scoring and rebounding to Philadelphia!

  26. Unfair-Club8243

If only he could bring this kinda game to the court

  27. PatBumpkus

It’s nice to see the brother of an NBA player not be a total POS

  28. thatjawn
