Darvin did not have a backup reliable center so he wanted rui with hayes in bench role so rui can produce. I blame lbj because it only showed once when Darvin drawing up a play and he just walked away, that shows lbj doesn't listen to any coach like spoelstra to at Miami and he was trying to balance the lineup with offense and defense but lbj always need help so he wanted top guys playing with him so bench was weak
So stop blaming Darvin only and I know he made bad calls and such, but lbj always wanted to do what he wants then whines saying more help and when fails he always says at least j have my stats and others can't produce because 1st 3 qtrs he always get his and fails at 4th that's why he fails to end the game
i think twas dlo or ar,, dlo only played well (consistent) during trade talks scored 25-30+ pts then after that nada, its either he shows or not, up down up down like ad last season, reaves after usa basketball he no show, he not like reaves last season anymore (maybe tired) but its not like they play basketball everyday lol, lakers guards are inconsistent this season, reaves also good defender last season, now eehhh.
what i want them to upgrade this summer is a consistent guard, pg who can legit playmake, fast, can defend and a center, big body center who can rebound, a hustle rebounder, hayes was fine but he thin he gets pushed by bigger center, wood not really a center, so AD can get back to 4. then bout the coach, dunno🤷♀️ up to them, if theres a better coach who have GOOD KNOWLEDGE about basketball then gow

Rui is a G league player. He played scared through the end of the season. He played like a marshmallow. Didn’t fight for rebounds, lost on defense and has no IQ. Can’t believe we are paying him 17mil a year for his trash play. He was so scared he missed about 12-13 bunny lay ups. Trade him and fire ham.
