Not to take anything away from Brunson. He's incredible, and he's turned this franchise around all by himself practically.
But it says something about how awful this franchise has been through most of its history, that after one 1st Round playoff series victory, Brunson is already on the Mount Rushmore of Knicks Greats. How is a New York franchise that's been around since the inception of the NBA, this devoid of talent, superstars, championships, etc??
