Billups brother not being rehired cannot be seen as a positive for Chauncey.
We need wings or bigs who can move. We have to compete with Wemby for the next decade and a half. Think Sarr, Ware, Tyler Smith, not Clingan or Edey. Jury is out on Filipowski who needs strength.
As well as Bigs who can move, we need wings who can score. Think Risarche, Knecht, Da Silva, Dillon James.

Brandon had a great question and debate discussed here. I think it can be simplified very easily using the Wally Szczerbiak comparison analogy. You can't get to the finals just drafting Wally Szczerbiak's. You can't expect to package and trade multiple years worth of Wally Szczerbiak's for a KG. You can't draft Wally Szczerbiak's as Portland and expect to sign KG's. Building through the draft is the only way we will ever get a KG.
Sarr can be a twin tower with Ayton.

If Tidjane Salaun pops then we should try to get him and Sarr, or Knecht. Knecht has a motor, he is better than Wally S. Cody Williams has a good brother, so does Keith Murray, so did Victor Fleming.

There’s no sense pretending the new CBA will make it less valuable to take bad contracts, nor is there sense in pretending people’s concerns with the Blazers financial situation are illegitimate by making up issues people don’t actually have
