I don’t think they are going to call this entire series as soft as they did the first half last night. But the key to this series is absolutely Gafford and Dlive. If they can dominate we will win. Also, Lukas passes have to be thrown with more velocity, if his lobs are not fast enough they will get intercepted everytime.

100% on all that. Luka’s passes were getting picked every time, both because he couldn’t get that velocity he normally throws them at, and because OKC does have some size in JWill and Chet. We can’t miss 60-70% of our shots and hope they run out of energy like the Clippers at the end of the game. The fouls really killed morale, OKC’s arena REALLY showed up for them too, insane energy in there!
We’re going to have to be the best versions of ourselves to pull this one off, and it remains to be seen if we can get there right now.
Playing THJ for 17 minutes, first game back from an injury, when he wasn’t shooting good BEFORE the injury, was certainly a decision too. One I’m hoping Kidd doesn’t make again. I can’t believe he didn’t use the regular season to test out AJ Lawson more. I know he’s raw, and OMax was getting SLIGHTLY more reps, but Lawson reminds me of a DJJ-light, but what do I know…
