Donte might be our best advertisement as a destination for career resuscitation yet and that he launched this come back following our rough 22-23 season makes us being a destination where you can *still* springboard your career even more convincing. Getting a bag after coming here on a vet min is one thing, but getting a bag AND relaunching your career to new heights (in no small part thanks to Steph’s mentorship and influence on DDV’s shooting, per DDV himself) is a whole other thing entirely.

Last series vs Philly I made a comment to the effect that now that the Knicks are good and it’s going to matter, it’s going to be fascinating to see what impact Thibs’ you can test when you’re dead approach to player mins in the regular season would hinder their ability to make a deep playoff run and now we’ve got Brunson hobbled and OG out for the rest of the game with what they’re calling a “sore hamstring,” which sounds like it’s probably a strain. Not good

I legit want to see these Knicks in the Finals. But it’s kinda hard seeing them win it all, they’ll be the ultimate underdogs with how much injury plagued they are right now.
